Starting inspiration began by looking around the area the product was being made for, the garden. The Bee Hive interested me as it is attractive, space saving and functional.

Once made and developed a clean 1:5 scale model to represent my idea. Using a Circle variant honeycomb. Three legged table for stability on a likely uneven ground.

The size of the Bamboo upon testing easily holds bowls at an angle ideal for garden parties. Bamboo knuckles create a natural base that is used for the top to safely hold drinks.
